Yazmin LaFleur
PROJECT MANAGER & BRAND STRATEGIST
Yazmin oversees projects and develops brand strategies for MRPP Comms clients. She bridges big-picture vision with detail-driven execution, focusing on building strong brands through seamless collaboration.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities with a BA in Strategic Communications and a minor in Fashion Studies. She is also fluent in French. Yazmin gives back to the community by serving on Junior Achievement North's Impact Board.

MEDIA RELATIONS STRATEGIST
Amy develops and executes media relations strategies for MRPPComms. She brings 25+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and agency work. Clients benefit from Amy’s curiosity, collaborative nature and diverse skillset. A believer in the benefits of inclusive work cultures, she is a member of Minnesota PRSA, where she serves as co-chair of the DEI Committee.
Amy holds a BS in Mass Communications and an MS in Special Studies from St. Cloud State University. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and a good book, and dreams of one day owning a Nash Metropolitan (Lois Lane car, modernized as a hybrid).

MEDIA RELATIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST
With a career spanning more than two decades in television news and strategic communications, Sonya brings a powerful blend of journalistic excellence and media savvy to her work. An Emmy Award-winning producer and multiple-Eric Sevareid Award winner for her investigative and feature reporting. She has a proven track record of crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
Sonya holds a BS in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. In her personal time, she is dedicated to fitness and is preparing to complete her 13th half-marathon, while also embracing the challenge of learning the Korean language.
Kaleah Rose
INTERN
Kaleah Rose creates content for digital platforms and develops media reports for MRPPComms. She is a communications student at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI)—St Thomas. Kaleah has additional internship experience as an Associate Producer for The Conversation with Al McFarlane, which airs on KFAI 90.3 FM.
She is very active on her campus, where she serves as Media Ambassador and liaison for incoming students. She is also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Vice President of the UVI chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
